Arsenal injury list: Jack Wilshere joins Nacho Monreal, Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, Abou Diaby and Kim Kallstrom on the sidelines

England midfielder will be out of action for at least six weeks

Jack Wilshere became the latest member of Arsenal's injury list after suffering a hairline fracture to the navicular bone in his left foot on international duty for England against Denmark.

Wilshere joins Nacho Monreal, Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, Abou Diaby and Kim Kallstrom on the sidelines for the Gunners, and will be out for up to six weeks.

While Wilshere should return in good time to feature in the World Cup for England, the same cannot be said for Theo Walcott, who will miss the tournament because of the cruciate ligament injury he picked up in the 2-0 FA Cup third round victory over  Tottenham Hotspur in January.

Other crocked Gunners include Abou Diaby, who has been out for a whole year, and left-back Nacho Monreal who has an ankle problem.

Kim Kallstrom, who has yet to make his debut for the club he joined on loan from Spartak Moscow in January, is close to finally making an appearance for Arsenal, while the man who he was signed to deputise for, Aaron Ramsey will hopefully be back for the Premier League match at Tottenham on 16 March.
