There's a lengthy queue for the Emirates' treatment room at the moment

Arsenal will be without Hector Bellerin for Sunday's meeting with Tottenham Hotspur but Laurent Koscielny could return to the side.

The French centre-back missed the midweek Champions League tie with Bayern Munich with a minor hip problem and was expected to sit out of this season’s first north London derby, but Arsene Wenger revealed that Koscielny might return to the starting line-up in his pre-match press conference.

Bellerin, who also missed the 5-1 defeat in Germany, is still struggling to recover from a groin problem. Mathieu Debuchy is expected to continue at right-back in the pacey Spaniard’s place.

Arsenal’s injury problems are well documented. Although Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey are expected to recover from their hamstring injuries in the coming weeks, they will not be available for the visit of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Nor will Theo Walcott, whose calf muscle strain will see him on the sidelines until the end of the month.

Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky and Danny Welbeck are all long-term absentees.
