On his 150th Premier League appearance for Arsenal, Aaron Ramsey put in a match-winning performance as the Gunners clocked up an eighth consecutive league win with a 1-0 success at Burnley.

The midfielder scored the only goal of the game in the 12th minute, firing into the roof of the net after teammates Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil had seen their efforts on goal blocked.

The North London club saw plenty of the ball, but resolute defending from the hosts meant that they failed to build on their lead.

Burnley’s best opportunities in a game of few chances came in the second half, but George Boyd mis-kicked at the vital moment before Danny Ings saw his acrobatic effort comfortably saved.

The 1-0 victory leaves the Gunners just four points behind leaders Chelsea, albeit having played two extra games. For Sean Dyche’s Clarets, however, the outlook is bleak as they remain rooted in the relegation zone, two points from safety.

So who were the stand-out players? We rate them...
