Craig Bellamy comes back into Cardiff's starting line up to face his former club as Philippe Coutinho replaces Raheem Sterling in Liverpool’s eleven.

Bellamy replaces the injured Craig Noone in the only change from last week’s narrow 2-1 defeat to Everton with Liverpool also making just one change from the side that beat Manchester United 3-0.

Lucas Leiva and Mamadou Sakho have both recovered from injuries and return to Liverpool’s bench.

Even if Cardiff win today they are likely to remain in the bottom three due to their poor goal difference regardless of what happens in the other key relegation matches today.

After Chelsea’s emphatic 6-0 beating of Arsenal earlier today, Liverpool need to win to keep the gap with the Blues to four points.

The team line ups are as follows…

Cardiff: Marshall, Theophile-Catherine, Caulker, Cala, John, Da Silva, Medel, Kim, Bellamy, Mutch, Campbell.

Subs: Turner, Whittingham, Jones, Gunnarsson, Daehli, Lewis, Zaha

Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Flanagan, Gerrard, Henderson, Allen, Coutinho, Sturridge, Suarez.

Subs: Brad Jones, Aspas, Moses, Sakho, Cissokho, Lucas, Sterling

Referee: Neil Swarbrick (Lancashire)
