Cesc Fabregas has scored Chelsea's season as a "seven or eight" out of 10.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona player is about to complete his first season at Stamford Bridge where he has helped the club to two trophies.

However, despite lifting the League Cup and more recently winning the Premier League, there is room for improvement according to the 28-year-old.

“If I have to give it [our season] a score, I'd give a seven or eight," he told Spanish radio station Cope.

"It has been a great season, winning two trophies.

"The only blow you can think about was the tie against Paris Saint-Germain. We were solid, consistent and we have competed very well, but that second leg is the negative thing I most remember from the season.

"I believe we should've done better, but it's a young team. The manager is building a new team based on the Chelsea of the past and I think that in the next few years we will be better."

Chelsea play away against West Brom this weekend.
