Ahead of the Premier League meeting between Chelsea and Sunderland this weekend, we caught up with a couple of fans for their take on the match...

Dark clouds are over Stamford Bridge at the moment and it has nothing to do with winter. On Saturday we welcome a game against fellow Premier League strugglers Sunderland.

However, given the state of Chelsea’s performance against Leicester and the cracks despite the win over Porto, nothing is guaranteed with Chelsea. Almost everything is going wrong. Luck is not going our way, some players don’t seem to be putting in any effort and others, such as Cesar Azpilicueta and Willian, are now suffering too.

A defeat to Sunderland could see us fall into the relegation zone for the first time since September 2000 - though that was only after six games. Despite Sunderland’s slowly improving performances, Chelsea have alternated wins and losses at home recently. So having lost to Bournemouth last time, I'm expecting a tough and difficult 1-0 Chelsea win.

The next few weeks are crucial for Chelsea and win against Sunderland would be a good start ahead of the run of festive games.

The start to life under Sam Allardyce at the Stadium of Light has been inconsistent so far. After brilliant wins over Crystal Palace and Stoke, we've undergone a mini slump with consecutive defeats to Arsenal and Watford.

Losing at the Emirates is forgiveable, but failing to secure even a point at home to newly-promoted Watford is not and means that we need to get something against Chelsea to try and move out of the drop zone.

Thankfully, the Blues' league form is atrocious and there is no better time to be playing them with Mourinho’s exit confirmed during the week. Who would have guessed a few months ago that this fixture would develop into a relegation six pointer? It's now absolutely a must win for both sides, but I reckon we'll end up seeing a 1-1 draw.
