Danny Welbeck has had a set-back in his return from injury and could now be out until February, according to reports.

The 25-year-old striker hasn't played since a 0-0 draw between Arsenal and Chelsea on 26 April, and reports have emerged today that he will now have totaled 10 months on the sidelines.

Welbeck underwent knee surgery back in September. In that same month, England manager Roy Hodgson revealed that Welbeck's selection for Euro 2016 in France was in doubt.

"Welbeck bothers me now," said Hodgson. "He's already been out for me since March and for Arsenal since April.

"And now I hear it's another six months, so I can only hope that Danny recovers a bit quicker and then hits the ground running."

Welbeck joined Arsenal from Premier League rivals Manchester United on transfer deadline day in September 2014, and has scored eight goals in 34 appearances for the Gunners.
