Champions League-chasing Chelsea and Tottenham will meet in the Barclays Premier League on Wednesday May 8, it has been announced.
The fixture was moved after clashing with Chelsea's FA Cup semi-final with Manchester City, which the Blues lost on Sunday.
Chelsea's continuing participation in the Europa League - they meet Spurs' conquerors Basle in the semi-finals - meant there were few available dates for the league clash.
Coming 10 days prior to the end of the season, the fixture could be decisive in the race for a top-four spot and qualification for next season's Champions League.
A statement on chelseafc.com read: "Our Barclays Premier League home match against Tottenham Hotspur, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, April 14, will now take place on Wednesday, May 8, kick-off 7.45pm.
"As originally planned, the game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports."
Meanwhile, Chelsea's Premier League meeting with Swansea at Stamford Bridge has been moved back 24 hours to Sunday, April 28, due to the Blues' Thursday night trip to Switzerland.
