David Moyes remains the right man for Manchester United, despite 'middle of the road' season, says former defender Gary Pallister
'Middle of the road' start to the season has not dampened Pallister's belief that the Scot can lead the club to glory like his predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson

Former Manchester United defender Gary Pallister concedes the club have made a “middle of the road” start to life under David Moyes but remains convinced he is the best man to lead the side.
United have had some disappointing results since the Moyes replaced the great Sir Alex Ferguson, much of it expected after the latter's remarkable 26-year reign.
But Moyes has now gone eight matches unbeaten in all competitions, a run that includes five wins, and goes into Sunday's clash with Barclays Premier League leaders Arsenal in a more confident frame of mind than would have been possible a month ago.
Pallister, who was supporting the Manchester United Foundation Chevrolet Trax eBay auction, accepts Moyes has suffered some early bumps in the road but remains confident they can give the in-form Gunners a run for their money at Old Trafford.
"We cannot get away from the fact it has been a middle of the road start to the season," said Pallister.
"But the last few games have been pretty good. We are starting to hit our straps a little bit.
'Sunday is a bigger game for United. The pressure is heaped on them.
"The players know this is a must-win game. They know how to respond to that.
"They have been through it many times. They know what it takes to win these types of matches."
Regardless of the result this weekend, Pallister remains fully supportive of Moyes as a long term fixture at United.
"Everybody has been looking for a bit of fallibility in United for a long time," he said.
"The manager has left after 26 years. There is a new man at the helm. Everything is going to be scrutinised and dissected.
"But as I have said many times, we have got the right man for the job.
"Once he gets his feet right under the table and understands more about his team and they understand more about his methods, they will only get better."
