The perfect property for diehard Arsenal fans has come onto the market.

A two-bed flat inside Highbury, the Gunners' Grade II listed former stadium, is for sale. Among the features is access to a communal garden that was once the football pitch graced by the likes of club legends Tony Adams and Thierry Henry.

Arsenal left the stadium in 2006 to take up residence at the Emirates and in the intervening years the ground has been converted into flats. Due to the building's listed status the property still retains the facade and Arsenal artwork that decorated the ground.

The property is priced at £660,000 - or about a months wages for Mesut Ozil.

In addition to the two bedrooms, it has underground parking, a 24-hour concierge and is within walking distance of local shops and transport. But the feature that will appeal most to any Arsenal fans will be the original marble halls through which the flat is accessed. They feature various nods to the building's former purpose, with Arsenal's cannon symbol and other artwork adorning the lobby.
