Kyle Walker has challenged Tottenham to respond to their heavy defeat at Manchester City over the festive period.
Spurs face Fulham at Craven Cottage in Rene Meulensteen's first match since succeeding Martin Jol on Sunday.
Andre Villas-Boas is now the bookmakers' favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post but right-back Walker believes their 6-0 defeat at the Etihad has acted as a wake-up call.
"It probably was," the England defender said. "It has come at the right time. Hopefully it kick-starts us and we go to where we want to be."
