We've got the views of season ticket holder Sarah Mannion.

But how was it for you? Comment at the bottom of this article and have your say on your team's season.

Who has been your best player this season?

Joleon Lescott. He deserves every man of the match award he has won.

Who would you be glad to see the back of?

Thomas Gravesen is not the force he was.

What was your best performance?

The 7-1 win over Sunderland, with Tim Cahill and Yakubu scoring two each.

And the worst?

The 2-0 defeat at Aston Villa in September.

Who have been your toughest opponents?

Chelsea, they are strong in every department.

Best player faced?

Joe Cole. Fine goal in Carling Cup semi-final.

Funniest/most bizarre moment of the season?

Two of our players being sent off in the Liverpool derby and having a ridiculously biased referee.

Your perfect, but realistic signing?

A 20-goal striker in the mould of Roque Santa Cruz.

Any reasons to be cheerful going into next season?

Definitely. We’re in a strong position, we’ve improved in all areas. To win that “second title”, i.e. fifth place, is no mean feat.

Reasons to be gloomy?

We took one point from 24 against the top four.

Who will you support in Euro 2008?

Spain. Even though Mikel Arteta does not get picked.

Overall assessment of your manager?

Very good – David Moyes has kept us in a good position with limited funds and had a decent run in Uefa and Carling Cups.

And overall assessment of your team?

They’ve shown strength and persistence all season and hopefully we can continue to produce this year’s performances in the next campaign.

Marks out of 10?
