But how was it for you? Comment at the bottom of this article and have your say on your team's season.
Who has been your best player this season?
Joe Hart has performed with assurance and a maturity that belies his age.
Who would you be glad to see the back of?
Danny Mills picks up this award for the fifth year running.
What was your best performance?
The 2-1 win at Man Utd was impressive, but 3-1 over Newcastle at home showed City at their swashbuckling best.
And the worst?
The 6-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge was a little humiliating.
Who have been your toughest opponents?
Chelsea.
Best player faced?
Dimitar Berbatov in the League Cup.
Funniest/most bizarre moment of the season?
Going out of the FA Cup to a balloon would rank as bizarre, but that’s just run of the mill at City.
Your perfect, but realistic signing?
Diego from Werder Bremen. An outrageously gifted footballer.
Any reasons to be cheerful going into next season?
If Sven Goran Eriksson goes, then no.
Reasons to be gloomy?
We have a chairman who knows less about football than your average Man Utd fan.
Who will you support in Euro 2008?
Switzerland and Croatia for Gelson Fernandes and Vedran “Charlie” Corluka
Overall assessment of your manager?
Eriksson exudes charm, class and authority. The best since Joe Mercer, but our chairman doesn’t recognise that.
And overall assessment of your team?
In the first half of the season we performed admirably. In the second half we’ve struggled to maintain those standards, but our highest Premier League finish and six points off United represents a successful season.
