Christian Eriksen scored the late winner for Tottenham to see his team escape the KC Stadium with a 2-1 victory.

Hull started very strong with a magnificent shot by midfielder Jake Livermore who sent the ball on Hugo Lloris’s right corner.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side started to pick up the pace and bring the ball on Allan McGregor’s box but the end of first half saw Steve Bruce’s team on the lead.

Things started to get easier for the visitors once Gaston Ramirez was sent off with a straight red card after kicking Jan Vertonghen in the second half.

Harry Kane scored his ninth goal in 10 matches in 61 minutes after Eriksen’s free-kick hit the bar.

The Danish then won the match for his team from 20 yards and brought plenty of smiles at the Tottenham front before their important clash with Everton next week.
