Hull have confirmed the signing of defender Ibrahima Sonko on a season-long loan from Stoke.
The 28-year-old Senegal international made 14 appearances for Stoke last season but was unlikely to feature this term with the Potters having strengthened their defensive ranks with Robert Huth and Danny Collins.
Hull were on the look-out for a central defender after losing player of the year Michael Turner to Sunderland in a deal reported to be worth £6m.
