Luis Suarez has met up with the Liverpool squad for the first time since revealing he wants a move away.

The striker has been the subject of a bid from Arsenal and has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid. However, no transfer has yet materialised and he has now linked with up the squad in Australia following an extended break due to his involvement in the Confederations Cup.

Speaking about the speculation, manager Brendan Rodgers has said: "Unless there's any sort of offer that comes in which is anywhere near his value then there's nothing to consider and we haven't had that.

"So at the moment, in this present moment in time, he's back in, he's reported as he should do for training at the right time.

"He's had a good rest and he's now looking forward to getting fit with the rest of his team."

Suarez is due to play in Wednesday's friendly against Melbourne Victory.
