Arsene Wenger has revealed that Jack Wilshere will not be ready to face Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The England midfielder has not played a single minute of competitive football for the Gunners this season, but did play 90 minutes for the Under-21s on Thursday.

Wenger, however, says Wilshere needs one more game before he can play for the first-team.

Tomas Rosicky, who has only made one appearance for the club this season, also played in the 3-1 Under-21 defeat by Swansea City.

"Everyone who played last week is available," Wenger said. "Wilshere and Rosicky played for the under-21s yesterday.

"Jack needs one more game. I will see after that how he compares to the other competitors."

Meanwhile, German playmaker Mesut Ozil has been nominated for the PFA Player of the Year award, and Wenger has hailed his "efficiency".

"He has been efficient . His goalscoring and assists mean he deserves this award."

Ozil has amde 18 assists and scored six goals in the Premier League this season.
