Jack Wilshere continued his return to full fitness yesterday by playing 90 minutes for Arsenal Under-21s. The England midfielder made both goals in a 2-1 win at Everton, the first time he has completed a competitive game since his 14-month injury absence.
Arsenal had gone behind but Wilshere's pass to Jernade Meade allowed the left-back to cross for Thomas Eisfeld to equalise, before Wilshere set up Eisfeld himself for Arsenal's winner.
Wilshere was also booked for a foul on Francisco Junior in his third appearance for the Under-21s since his return.
