Paul Lambert and his Aston Villa assistant Roy Keane snubbed a handshake with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

With time still remaining in the match that finished 3-0 to the Blues, Jose Moruinho decided to head to the dressing room early; as he often does.

The Portuguese boss walked over to Lambert and Keane but the Scottish manager decided not to shake his hand, instead pointing to his watch to illustrate the game was still going on.

Mourinho then tapped Keane on the shoulder but was completely blanked by the former Manchester United captain.

Chelsea face Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League tonight, and after a draw in the opening group game against Schalke, Mourinho will risk star striker Diego Costa as he searches for three points.

“There is a risk, yes. There is a risk,” Mourinho admitted in his pre-match press conference at the stadium.

“But he plays. We assume the risk and he plays. So, hopefully, everything goes well and hopefully, from Tuesday to Sunday, he has enough period of time to be back on track again and play against Arsenal [on Sunday].”
