Jose Mourinho has been given a one match stadium ban for Chelsea's next Premier League match, which is against Stoke this weekend.
The punishment was inflicted after he admitted a charge "in relation to his language and/or behaviour towards the match officials in or around the dressing room area at half-time" during Chelsea's 2-1 loss to West Ham.
But what exactly does it mean for the Chelsea manager?
Mourinho will not be allowed to enter the match day venue, Stoke's Britannia Stadium, before, during or after the game and cannot communicate with staff at any point.
There is nothing to stop Mourinho speaking to his players prior to or after the game, such as at the team hotel, as long as no party involved is at the stadium.
A stadium ban is more severe than a touchline ban, which simply stops a manager from being pitch side.

Brendan Rodgers His availability makes Rodgers a viable option, although whether the former Liverpool manager matches the calibre of coach that Chelsea would want to employ is debatable. But the Northern Irishman can boast of nearly taking Liverpool to the title and few others in the game would be so desperate to prove themselves. Also has ties with the club having worked under Mourinho during the Special One's first spell at Chelsea.

Having led Madrid's second club out of the shadow of Real to the title in 2013/14, the Argentinian proved his combative intense style could yield results. Chelsea would have to pay around £15m to Atletico in compensation to buy him out of his contract.

Could Mourinho appeal?
Mourinho could still appeal against the punishment despite admitting the charge, as he did after being fined and given a suspended stadium ban for his post-match comments against Southampton. Should he do so at a point at which the appeal could not be processed before the weekend, Mourinho would be permitted to enter the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.
