Jurgen Klopp is not working instant miracles at Liverpool.

After the Reds drew 1-1 with Southampton today, the German manager has now drawn all three of his matches as Reds manager. This is a worse record than his predecessor Brendan Rodgers' last three games in chage at Anfield. In Rodgers' last three games the Reds won one and drew two.

RODGERS' LAST THREE LIVERPOOL GAMES

W Aston Villa 3-2 (h, Premier League, 26 Sept)

D Sion 1-1 (h, Europa League, 1 Oct)

D Everton 1-1 (a, Premier League, 4 Oct)

KLOPP'S FIRST THREE LIVERPOOL GAMES

D Tottenham 0-0 (a, Premier League, 17 Oct)

D Rubin Kazan 1-1 (h, Europa League, 22 Oct)

D Southampton 1-1 (h, Premier League, today)

After the game, Klopp said: "Of course this moment is not the best moment in the week because we wasted a lot of energy.

"Southampton haven't lost away from home so we had to work hard. You score the goal and you want to win, but it didn't happen tonight.

"Football is not a fairytale. Sometimes we write stories like this but it doesn't happen. You see these guys can play football, are technically strong and physically strong but you saw how big the disappointment after Southampton was.

"It's only a goal, only a game of football! It's like it's the last thing in your life and we have to calm this down."
