Blackburn manager Steve Kean has defended the signing of a pre-contract agreement with Myles Anderson, despite the 20-year-old having playing just two minutes of competitive football.

The defender, son of agent Jerome – who advises Rovers' owners Venky's – made his debut for current club Aberdeen last month. "We feel that Myles is a player with great potential as a late developer," Kean said.
