Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge surprises kids at school as young Reds fans' left stunned by star's appearance
Sturridge surprised children at Anfield Junior School in a recent visit that focused on his now famous goal celebration
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has helped shoot the club up the Premier league table, with his tally of 20 goals this season second only to team-mate Luis Suarez this season.
Having had his best season in front of goal to-date, Kop regulars have regularly seen Sturridge’s dancing goal celebration, but this time it was the turn of the Anfield Junior School to show the England striker their moves as Sturridge surprised the young pupils in a recent visit.
Sneaking up behind them as they gave the club an interview as part of the regular ‘Kop Kids’ feature, Sturridge shocked the young Reds fans’ to leave them gobsmacked – and comically one Everton supporter who was far from impressed.
But ever the entertainer, Sturridge performed the ‘wiggly arm’ celebration with the children as well as having a chat with each of them, with one young fan admitting “I met Daniel Sturridge and nearly fell off my chair”.
