Manchester United are reportedly lining up an £11m bid for defender Simon Kjaer.
The Danish international has emerged as a target to replace unsettled Nemanja Vidic.
The Serbian defender has 18 months to run on his contract and appears likely to be sold in the summer to cash in before his contract runs down.
Sir Alex Ferguson has identified Kjaer, who plays for Italian side Palermo, as the ideal replacement.
The 20-year-old Danish international has an £11m buy-out in his contract, although United could face competition for his signature from Liverpool and Juventus.Reuse content
