Marcos Rojo work permit: CONFIRMED - £16m Manchester United signing finally obtains permit
Argentinian will be able to make debut against QPR next Sunday
Manchester United confirmed the news on their Twitter feed this afternoon.
"The UK Border Agency has agreed to grant #mufc defender @MarcosRojo5 a visa and he will therefore be available to face QPR on 14 September," it read.
Rojo started for Argentina in their 4-2 friendly victory over Germany in Dusseldorf last night.
The 24-year-old has already missed three United matches since he signed for the club from Sporting Lisbon for £16m last month.
The BBC had reported that the hold-up in Rojo's obtaining the permit was because of a criminal investigation for an incident in his native Argentina back in 2010. It is understood that Rojo strongly denies any wrongdoing.
