Still with a fight on their hands for safety, Southampton will look to take advantage of a wounded QPR side, who have only managed to win two league games all season.

After an impressive performance against Newcastle, Mauricio Pochettino’s men were unlucky to leave Tyneside without a point, let alone all three, and the Saints fans will hope for a similar performance and result to the one that defeated Manchester City.

Harry Redknapp’s side still believe they can get out of trouble and stay in the Premier League, but with tough games still to play, the west London club will have to get points away from home, starting at St Mary’s Stadium.

KICK-OFF: Saturday, 3pm

QPR 1 (David Hoilett) Southampton 3 (Rickie Lambert, Jason Puncheon, Anton Ferdinand og), Premier League, November 2012

Southampton 0 QPR 0, Championship, March 2009

QPR 4 (Dexter Blackstock 2, Damion Stewart, Patrick Agyemang) Southampton 1 (Adam Lallana) , Championship, September 2008

Southampton’s Rickie Lambert leads the line for English goal scorers with 12 goals so far this season.

Despite being bottom of the table, QPR do not have the worst goal difference in the league with -24. That honour goes to Aston Villa with -26.

Under Mauricio Pochettino Southampton have only won one game and that was against Man City.

QPR have scored more away goals (11) then they have in front of their home crowd (8).

QPR to win: 4.6

Draw: 3.8
