Michael Laudrup has insisted he would not be making wholesale changes at Swansea City after being unveiled as the club's new manager yesterday.
That goes for the players and backroom staff remaining from Brendan Rodgers' reign, the former Spartak Moscow coach revealed.
"I would like a new beginning, to come in and see how things are here. Change for change's sake? I don't think that is good," Laudrup said.
Laudrup also revealed he thoroughly checked out the Premier League club before accepting the job: "I think the research is very important," he said. If I had done some more research in former jobs I might have taken some other decisions.
"The people I talked to were very positive. People said: 'Michael it would be a good club for you.' "
