Mauricio Pochettino has made three changes from his Tottenham team who lost 1-0 to Aston Villa last weekend for today's Premier League match at Newcastle, including bringing in Jan Vertonghen for Vlad Chiriches.

In other changes, Paulinho comes in for Ryan Mason and Erik Lamela replaces Andros Townsend.

Moussa Sissoko is suspended for Newcastle after picking up a red card against Liverpool on Monday.

Newcastle: Krul; Janmaat, Coloccini (c), Williamson, Anita; Abeid, R.Taylor, Colback; Gouffran, Perez, Cabella.

Subs: Woodman, Sterry, Kemen, Obertan, Ameobi, Armstrong, Riviere.

Tottenham: Vorm, Dier, Fazio, Vertonghen (c), Rose; Bentaleb, Paulinho, Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela; Kane.

Subs: Friedel, Davies, Yedlin, Dembele, Mason, Townsend, Soldado
