Liverpool struggled again as they lost 1-0 to Newcastle at St James' Park.
Brendan Rodgers' team dominated possession but chances for the Reds were few and far between.
Mario Balotelli again struggled to get into the match, though he was far from the worst player to suit up for the away side.
For Newcastle substitute Ayoze Perez was the hero for Alan Pardew, pouncing on a piece of extremely sloppy defending by Alberto Moreno to score the only goal of the game.
Newcastle were decent throughout and deserved their win
