Tottenham will not formally complain about Chelsea's approach for Frank Arnesen if they receive "fair and significant compensation", saysthe chairman of the club, Daniel Levy.

Arnesen is expected to join Chelsea after they approached Spurs and the Dane himself. Talks have continued between the two, with Tottenham yet to report Chelsea for an illegal approach - an accusation the Blues would reject.

Levy said in an open letter on the club's website: "I will not be coerced into lodging a formal complaint to the Premier League, in what is, in my opinion, an open and shut case that Chelsea will get points deducted. I will, however, not hesitate to take this route in the absence of fair and significant compensation."
