QPR travel to Crystal Palace in Saturday’s early kick-off looking to avoid more away-day blues and get their survival bid back on track. Hoops boss Chris Ramsey will be hoping to arrest a slide of three consecutive losses following his instatement as manager until the end of the season. Narrow defeats to Hull, Arsenal and Tottenham have left the Hoops three points adrift of safety as the battle for survival draws to a frantic finale.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew will have pinpointed this fixture as an important one to pick up three points from and put some real distance between themselves and the relegation zone. Eagles midfielder Jordan Mutch will be disappointed to miss out on facing his former club, with a thigh injury ruling him out until April.

KICK-OFF: Saturday, 12.45pm

PAST THREE MEETINGS:

QPR 0-0 Crystal Palace, Premier League, December 2014

QPR (Helguson 2) 2-1 Crystal Palace (Vaughan), Championship, March 2011

Crystal Palace (Cadogan) 1-2 QPR (Taarabt, Helguson), Championship, October 2010

ODDS:

Crystal Palace (4/5) Draw (11/4) QPR (17/4)

STATS:

Alan Pardew has a 54% win percentage with Crystal Palace as opposed to his 43% with Newcastle this season.

QPR have lost 13 of their 14 away games this season.

Charlie Austin has scored 51% of QPR’s goals this season

Classic Moment:

Crystal Palace 1-2 QPR - October 2010

A winner from Heidar Helguson deep into stoppage-time just moments after Palace looked to have snatched a points kept the Hoops six points clear at the top of the Championship. Moroccan midfielder Adel Taarabt had given the visitors the lead with a well-taken finish before Kieron Cadogan smashed home a late leveller. However, there was still time for Helguson to bundle home a late winner to ensure Neil Warnock a happy return to his former club.

TV: Sky Sports 1 - 12.45pm. MOTD, BBC1 - 10.20pm
