This weekend sees the return of the Premier League.
After a week’s break for international fixtures the league enters its final stages with a number of ties that could have a major bearing on how the final standings will turn out.
With only eight games to go, players from teams at both ends of the table will be hoping to steer their teams towards the top four or away from the bottom three.
Witth contract talks reaching a stalemate at Liverpool, the spotlight will be on Raheem Sterling as his Liverpool side travel to The Emirates for a massive game against the Premier League’s in-form team Arsenal. Harry Kane took just 80 seconds to grab his first goal for England last Friday, and he will be hoping to use that success to add to his tally of 19 league goals this season against Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday.
Aaron Ramsey was another one who will want to take a positive international break into this weekend’s game against Liverpool. The Arsenal man boosted Wales’ chances of European Championship qualification with a crucial opening goal during Wales’ 3-0 win away to Israel.
While two of the Premier League’s forgotten men will be hoping to salvage what have been rather forgettable first seasons with their clubs. Manchester United's Radamel Falcao and Chelsea's Loic Remy could be in line for starts on Saturday, and will want to add to their modest season tallies of four and six respectively.
