Sam Allardyce had to dip into the loan window, bringing in Mladen Petric until the end of the season due to Andy Carroll suffering another injury setback.
Allardyce's opposite number, Mauricio Pochettino has a wealth of forwards at his disposal, selecting from England striker Rickie Lambert, Jay Rodriguez and new signing Dani Osvaldo.
Both teams will be aiming to get back to winning ways as they look to come back from losses against Stoke and Norwich, respectively, previous to the international break.
