Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has been fined £8,000 by the Football Association after admitting a misconduct charge.

Hughes was sent to the stands for his angry reaction to midfielder Glenn Whelan’s red card just before half-time in his team’s 5-1 thrashing at Newcastle last month.
