Since 4 April, Leicester have picked up the most points (18) in the Premier League. A run of six wins from their last seven games has lifted the Foxes out of the relegation zone and - depending on how results go this weekend - they are one positive result away from securing their top-flight safety. Their WhoScored.com rating over that time (7.17) is the best of all Premier League teams.

Sunderland, though, aren’t exactly in bad form, having hit a purple patch at just the right time. A 2-0 win at Everton means they have lost just one of their last five games, winning three, which has put a two-point gap between themselves and 18th-placed Hull City. A point is all that separates these two teams ahead of the weekend’s fixture in what is a genuine relegation six-pointer. The Black Cats will feel they hold the upper hand and are undefeated in their last five home league meetings with Leicester.

However, no team has shipped more Premier League goals at home this season than Sunderland (27), while the Wearsiders are conceding a joint-high 16.1 shots per game. Meanwhile, only Manchester City (15) have scored more goals since 4 April than Leicester (14) and the recent form of Leonardo Ulloa, Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy should be a worry for Sunderland, who are by no means safe from relegation.
