Title is United's now, says Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo is confident Manchester United will go on to win the title after a remarkable comeback that sets them up perfectly for Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final with Arsenal.
The Gunners will arrive at Old Trafford just a few days after United hammered Tottenham 5-2 in the Premier league to go three points clear of title rivals Liverpool, and this after the Red Devils were 2-0 down at the break.
Ronaldo scored from a hotly disputed penalty to start the comeback in the second half and with five Premiership fixtures remaining, he believes United will get the job done.
"We have five games left and we know that if we win the next four we will win the league," said Ronaldo.
"We have five cup finals left and we have to believe. I'm looking forward to every game and I'm very confident we'll win the title again.
"We know we didn't play well in the first half. But the spirit was different after half-time and the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant.”
