Tottenham player ratings vs West Brom: Mousa Dembele and Toby Alderweireld star as Spurs see title hopes fade

Player ratings for the Tottenham side that failed to beat West Bromwich Albion and effectively hand the title to Leicester

Hugo Lloris: 6

A spectator for the majority of the game, the Frenchman was rarely called upon, but could do little about Dawson's equaliser.

Kyle Walker: 6

The full-back bombed forward at every opportunity and had the beating of Sessegnon comfortably but could have done more to snuff out danger in wide areas.

Toby Alderweireld: 7

An almost faultless display defensively. The Belgian stepped out with real authority and stroked the ball around superbly. Has such good technique he could play in midfield.

Jan Vertonghen: 6

Looks at ease alongside Alderweireld. Made himself a nuisance for the goal and gobbled up everything West Brom could throw at him in attack but failed to take charge for the equaliser.

Danny Rose: 6

The full back did not have much defending to do and relished a chance to support attacks a little more than usual. But came up short when the tide turned in the second half.

Mousa Dembele: 7

An authoritative display. The Belgian drifted across the park and did not the likes of Fletcher get a look in. His power is pivotal for Spurs but he failed to stay in control for a full 90 minutes.

Eric Dier: 6

Not much holding to be done for the Englishman who played well, bar from one poor touch which almost gifted West Brom a chance to score. Withdrawn after a clash during Dawson's equaliser.

Erik Lamela: 6

The Argentine linked play well and got close to work off of Kane's lay offs too. However, his finishing let him down with the goal at his mercy in the second half.

Dele Alli: 6

Oozed confidence after his Young Player of the Year award and shared some encouraging exchanges with Kane. However, blighted his copybook with a petulant feud with Yacob which could land the Spurs man in hot water.

Christian Eriksen: 6

Clipped the crossbar courtesy of a free kick early on and delivered dangerous set pieces all night long. It was the Dane's out swinger that caused panic in the West Brom defence for Dawson's own goal.

Harry Kane: 6

The striker hit the post early on but was starved of clear cut chances due to the congestion in the centre of the visitors' defence. Worked tirelessly to compete in the air.
