Leicester left it late yesterday, now it’s the turn of Tottenham and Arsenal. The North London pair are five points off the summit, and desperately need a win if they are to keep pace with the Foxes.

Standing in their way are a full-strength Swansea, and an injury-ravaged Manchester United; opponents needing the points for very different reasons, this is set up to be one of the pivotal afternoon in the 2015/16 season.

Here's the team news from Old Trafford and White Hart Lane......and the big news is that Anthony Martial does indeed miss out. It means young Marcus Rashford starts up front for Manchester United. That switch is one of five Louis van Gaal has to make to his injury-hit squad from the side that started the defeat at Sunderland last time out in the Premier League. Wayne Rooney, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Matteo Darmian and Chris Smalling are also ruled out, and so starts are handed to Guillermo Varela, Marcos Rojo, Anders Herrera and Memphis Depay. The United substitutes bench includes six youth team graduates.

Arsenal, meanwhile, make three changes to the team that defeated Leicester City two weeks ago. Danny Welbeck makes his first Premier League start of the season at his former club while Gabriel and Theo Walcott also come in. Olivier Giroud, Per Mertesacker and the injured Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are the players to miss out.

Tottenham v Swansea

Spurs striker Harry Kane plays despite breaking his nose in midweek, but he will wear one of those face masks, presumably borrowed from the drawer full of them at Stamford Bridge. It means Mauricio Pochettino is only forced to make one change from the team that won at Manchester City; Mousa Dembele is injured and so Erik Lamela comes which will see Dele Alli drop back into a deeper midfield rule.

Francesco Guidolin has had a fully-fit Swansea squad to choose from, and a 15-day rest since their last game. The Italian, suffering from a chest infection himself, makes a single change from the side beaten at home by Southampton in mid-February as Ki Sung-Yueng replaces Wayne Routledge.
