Viduka back to his best under Reid

The Leeds striker Mark Viduka says he has has rediscovered his passion for the game under Peter Reid after admitting to having problems under the club's former manager Terry Venables.

Viduka's two-goals in Tuesday night's 2-0 victory over Fulham at Elland Road virtually guaranteed Leeds Premiership football for next season.

"I had some problems early on under Terry. I was injured and it wasn't going so well," the Australian said. "But the last month or so has been excellent for me. Peter Reid has brought in a fresh, positive attitude that has worked wonders."

Viduka says he is content to stay at Elland Road and it will only be the club's financial situation which will force him to leave. "I'm happy here," said Viduka. "If Leeds want to sell me then that's out of my hands, but I'm not looking to leave."

Another Leeds striker Michael Bridges has been given the all-clear to start a comeback after five months out with an Achilles injury.
