Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas yesterday denied a Football Association charge for comments he made after his side's 1-0 defeat at QPR this month.

The Portuguese admitted after the game he had been "very aggressive" with referee Chris Foy, who sent off two Chelsea players in the Premier League game, and accused the official of failing to treat the teams equally. But Villas-Boas has denied the FA charge of improper conduct.
