West Ham manager Sam Allardyce brought Kevin Nolan back into his starting line-up as the Hammers hosted struggling Hull in the Barclays Premier League.

Nolan, who was also made captain, replaced Matt Jarvis in the only change from the team that played 120 minutes before beating Everton on penalties in the FA Cup on Tuesday.

Hull boss Steve Bruce made three changes from the side that lost to West Brom last Saturday as Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone and Sone Aluko came in for Maynor Figueroa, Nikica Jelavic and Abel Hernandez.

West Ham: Adrian, Jenkinson, Collins, Tomkins, Cresswell, Song, Noble, Nolan, Downing, Carroll, Valencia

Subs: Jaaskelainen, O'Brien, Reid, Poyet, Amalfitano, Jarvis, Cole

Hull: McGregor, Chester, Bruce, Davies, Dawson, Meyler, Huddlestone, Livermore, Elmohamady, Quinn, Aluko

Subs: Harper, Figueroa, Maguire, McShane, Ramirez, Ince, Sagbo
