Wilfried Zaha latest: Out-of-favour Manchester United winger linked with Crystal Palace return

The England international has made just four appearances for Manchester United and could be swayed by a return to Selhurst Park, where he made over 100 appearances

Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha could be set for a return to Crystal Palace just 18 months after leaving the club.

Zaha left the Eagles in a £15 million deal to join Manchester United in January 2013 but was loaned back for the rest of the season, helping Crystal Palace gain promotion to the Premier League.

But after failing to break into the first-team at Old Trafford under David Moyes, he spent the second half of last season on loan at Cardiff City, making 17 appearances.

The 21-year-old has struggled to replicate the same form that saw him earn two caps for England, and has been again been linked with a loan move ahead of the forthcoming season, with new boss Louis van Gaal poised to overhaul the squad.

And according to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis has made Zaha one of his top transfer targets this summer as they look to build on their superb end to the season.

It is believe that the club will make a formal enquiry when Pulis completes his punditry work in Brazil.
