• Tottenham Hotspur’s attempts to sign Moussa Dembele have failed. Fulham have called the deal off following after a row over the striker’s loan-back arrangement.
• Saido Berahino is at the centre of a transfer tug-of-war with three top flight clubs hoping to prise him from West Bromwich Albion’s hands.
• Denis Cheryshev could leave Real Madrid today, according to the club’s head coach Zinedine Zidane. The winger has been linked with Liverpool.
