Diego Costa has said he would love to see former Atletico Madrid team-mate Arda Turan at Chelsea - because the Turkish midfielder is a good cook.

Turan, 28, has been linked with a move to Chelsea along with Barcelona and Manchester United for around £25million, after telling the Spanish club he wants to leave this summer.

Costa scored 27 goals for Atletico in 2013/14 as Diego Simeone's side won La Liga for the first time in 18 years and also reached the final of the Champions League, where they lost to local rivals Real Madrid.

Turan was a key part of that team, playing in 30 league matches that season and scoring 10 goals and adding six assists in all competitions.

Costa, who joined Chelsea last summer along with fellow former Atletico team-mates Felipe Luis and Thibaut Courtois (who returned from a loan deal), wants the Blues to bring in another former Atletico man.

"I would really like to be reunited with him," Costa said in an interview with Turkish newspaper Bugun. "It would be fantastic because he is a player that makes my job easier.

"Arda, Flilpe Luis and I achieved great success together and he really is a great guy."

But Costa went on to reveal another, far more important reason that he wanted Turan back at the club - because he's a great cook.

"He introduced us all to Turkish food. I really liked his kebabs and when he had food everybody would hover around his house for some."
