Neither Arsenal or Chelsea have shown any interest in signing Netherlands international Wesley Sneijder after being stunned at the playmaker's wage demands.
Inter Milan could be willing to allow the 28-year-old to leave for free this month as they seek to get the former Real Madrid player off their wage bill.
The Italian club have been asking Sneijder to take a pay-cut but to no avail, leading to a stand-off between player and club that has seen him dropped from the match squad altogether at times this season.
Arsenal and Chelsea are among those linked with a move for the player, however reports claim that having been contacted by Sneijder's agents, neither club is interested having been told of his £200,000-a-week wage demands.
Gazzetta dello Sport reported over the weekend that Liverpool had made a £9.5m bid for the World Cup finalist, however Sneijder rubbished the claims, telling a press conference: "Again, no truth."Reuse content
