Lukasz Fabianski. whose contract with Arsenal expires next month, has reportedly rejected the latest offer from the club as they try to keep the Polish goalkeeper.

The 29-year-old, starred in the Gunners' triumphant FA Cup campaign, and kept his spot for the final in place of the regular No 1 Wojciech Szczesny but admitted after the final that he expected to exit the club after seven years in north London, and is no closer to agreeing a new deal.

Bundesliga clubs Schalke and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly leading the race to sign him on a free contract.

"It was probably my last game for Arsenal," said Fabianski after the 3-2 victory over Hull.

"I don't know what I can say, but if I end my Arsenal career in that way then it is the best way to finish."


Despite the club agreeing new contracts with eight first-team players this season, another that could be heading for the Emirates exit is Bacary Sagna. The right-back  is also out of contract next month and is reportedly close to signing a three-year deal with Manchester City.
