All Liverpool have to show for the £20m they paid Roma three years ago is 13 starts but the Italian midfielder believes the appointment of Rodgers may revive his Anfield career. Aquilani, who has two years remaining on his deal, has ruled out a return to his homeland where he has had loan spells at Juventus and Milan since signing for former manager Rafael Benitez. "I would say the chances he could go back to Milan are impossible," Aquilani's agent Franco Zavaglia said. "Other clubs? I reiterate, he will remain at Liverpool."
