Buffon denies deal with Manchester United
Juventus’ veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has again dismissed ongoing rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United next summer.
The 32-year-old Italy international, who is currently sidelined following back surgery, has continued to deny that a deal could be agreed, saying that he is more than happy in Turin.
He told Tuttosport: “I am used to living with these rumours.
“It's been six years that people have been speaking about Manchester United, but it doesn't seem to me like anything has ever happened.”
Of his planned return to action in the New Year, Buffon added: “Everything is going according to plan. I will return in the time that was pre-established, in January.
“There is no doubt I am not used to it, but these are things that form part of a sportsman's life.”
