6 August: Wantaway Everton defender Joleon Lescott is still in line to feature in tomorrow's home friendly with Malaga despite further claims he is on the brink of a move to Manchester City. There had even been speculation he would be unveiled by City at their fans' open day at Eastlands today.

8 July: Brazilian striker Jo is likely to be involved in Everton's first pre-season friendly at Bury on Friday. 6 July: Everton are today expected to confirm the signing of 22-year-old American midfielder Anton Peterlin. Peterlin will be manager David Moyes' first summer signing, after impressing on a 10-day trial last season, when he was able to attend the FA Cup victory over Middlesbrough.
