Speculation is rife that Gareth Bale could move to Manchester United

Manchester United will reportedly break their transfer record to bring Real Madrid's Gareth Bale to the club in summer in a massive £75m deal.

The Spanish giants sacked manager Rafa Benitez yesterday and replaced him with legendary former player Zinedine Zidane. Bale had thrived under Benitez, who had tried to build a team around the Welshman, who moved to Real for a world record £85m from Tottenham in 2013.

Zidane has publicly stated that Bale is not for sale, but it has been reported that the 26-year-old was disappointed to see Benitez go.

The Daily Mirror have reported that United now feel their chances of signing main target Bale at the end of the season have improved after Benitez's dismissal.

One Real Madrid winger that could be on his way to the Premier League this month is Isco. Manchester City and Chelsea are both reportedly interested in the player, who is happy to leave the club in this transfer window to further his ambitions of playing for Spain at Euro 2016.

Isco has, however, also been linked with Juventus.

Watford's captain Troy Deeney has been linked with a shock move to Premier league leaders Arsenal. The 27-year-old Deeney has been in fine form this season, scoring six goals in the league. The Daily Star have reported that Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is a fan of the 27-year-old, who could cost around £20m.

The Gunners remain short up front, with competition needed for Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud.

Wenger on busy transfer window

Wenger has said that is is looking to sign two players in this transfer window, the other being Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny, who will reportedly undergo a medical ahead of his £7.4m move today.

Gunners right-back Mathieu Debuchy, meanwhile, is wanted by Aston Villa.

The Frenchman has spoken of his frustration at his lack of playing time at the club, and is a target for relegation-threatened side on loan for the rest of the season.

Villa are managed by former Gunner Remi Garde, Wenger's first Arsenal signing back in 1996.
